A 26 -year -old man in a unwavering state on Sunday entered the police station in Keral’s pudukad and made a confession that sent strength to Tizza. The man told officers that the bag he carried contained the skeletal remains of his two newborn children – one who died four years ago and two more years ago, reported the PTI.
The man told officials that children were born from his relationship with a 21 -year -old woman and that they were unmarried. He also claimed that both infants had died and were buried in separate times and places in the last four years.
“The man appeared at the station around 12:30 in the morning that the bag had the remnants of two children,” the policeman said. “He said that one child died four years ago, another two years ago. We verify his demands and at this stage we consider the case to be a possible murder,” the officer told the press agency.
Police will visit two burial sites mentioned by a man – one on public cremation and the other on private land. Forensic experts and medical teams will help in the investigation. “We are looking at all angles. We cannot confirm if it is a murder. The investigation is underway,” the officer added.
The officer said that the police team under the dysp chalakku is working on identifying the remains and determining the cause of the death of infants.
In a similar incident, a 23 -year -old man named Affan came to a police station in the suburbs of Thiruvananthapuram in Kerala and confessed to killing six people, including his mother, grandmother, girlfriend and 13 -year -old brother this year. The police later confirmed that he attacked six individuals, but his mother, a cancer patient, survived and was in a critical condition. Affan traveled to three houses and killed relatives with sharp weapons and hammer. He required financial stress due to his father’s debt as a motive. After the attacks, he gave up the Venjaramood police station and admitted that he was planning to end his own life.
