Two girls were accepted in Amthottil Electronic Cradle of Kerala State Council for Child Welfare in Thycaud and others on the ALAPPUZHA Council on Wednesday and Thursday.
At Thycaud, the first child was received around 20:00 on Wednesday. The six -day girl weighed around 2.3 kg. Another girl was accepted early Thursday morning around 3.30 pm around two weeks, weighed around 3.3 kg. Meanwhile, the girl was accepted in Alappuzha Ambthottil just 1 hour ago a 20 -day child weighed 3.3. kg.
This is the first time that three children were received within 24 hours in these facilities – since its establishment in Thycaud and other districts.
A preliminary medical examination of girls was performed.
Girls who were admitted to the Gandhi Jayanti and Vidyarambham Day Council were named Ahimsa, Akshara and Veena, said the General Secretary of the GL ARUN GOPI.
In 2025, 23 children – 14 girls and nine boys were so far received in Amorthtil.
