The fresh wool of the threats Hoax bombs continued to maintain the police on the Desterhooks after both international airports Thiruvananthapuram and Thiruvananthapuram Central Railway Station on Sunday received an anonymous warning.
The police quickly responded with preventive measures, although the operations in both leading transit nodes remained intact.
According to official sources, the airport received the threat of e -mail bombs addressed to the airport manager, which caused the immediate action of the municipal police and the central industrial security forces (CISF). A group of dogs and a unit for detection and liquidation of the bomb were placed on the scene.
The airport spokesman confirmed the development and stated: “E -mail containing the threat of bomb was received at the Thiruvananthapuram International Airport before. Our highest security measures remain as a preventive measure.
At the same time, the room for inspection of urban transport received a similar threat concerning the Thiruvananthapuram Central Station. Immediately inspections of anti-sabotage started. While the premises were thoroughly scanned, the police confirmed that there was no threat to public security. The train services continued without disturbing.
The development is close to the heels of similar threats received by two luxury hotels in the city on Saturday. Over the past few months, the threats of fraud have focused on several key institutions across Kerala, including collectors, income division offices, district courts and even the High Court in Kerala. In any case, extensive search did not bring any real explosives.
Thiruvananthapuram, the Thiruvananthapuram Municipal Police, has seen almost 10 cases related to these incidents, but the efforts to trace the origin of the e -mails were still styles. Investigators believe that perpetrators have used more virtual private networks (VPN) to camouflage their identity.
Since the trail is cooling down, officials are now looking for help from Microsoft to watch the Outlook e -mail account connected to recent threats.
