Thieves robbed passengers on a Bengaluru-Narsapur special train in Bapatla district on Sunday (April 19, 2026). However, no passenger was injured in the incident.
Around 10 thieves robbed passengers at knifepoint on a moving train around 2am. Passengers in chassis S-11, S-12 and S-13 were forced to surrender their valuables and the thieves escaped with about 10 sovereigns of gold and other valuables, the victims said.
