Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian raised a sensational claim that Israel tried to assassinate him during the 12 -day war between two enemies in June.
Pezshkian made notes in an interview published on Monday.
“They tried, yes. They acted according to them, but they failed,” Pezshkian said in Persians in response to the question of whether he thought Israel had tried to kill him.
“It wasn’t the US that was behind my life. It was Israel. I was at a meeting … They tried to bomb the area in which we organized this meeting,” he added.
Israel launched his air strikes at Iranian nuclear facilities on June 13 and killed the best military commanders and nuclear scientists.
The 12 -day war also noted that the United States is launching strikes on Iranian nuclear facilities in Ford, Isfahan and Natanz.
According to the judiciary, more than 900 people were killed in Iran during the conflict in Iran.
Pezshkian accused Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyah of chasing “his own agenda” “forever wars” in the Middle East and urging the United States not to be drawn into it.
“The US administration should refrain from engaging in a war that is not an American war, it is Netanyahu’s war,” he said.
He also said that his country has “no problem” restarting nuclear interviews, assuming that confidence can be restored between the two countries.
“There is a condition … for restarting interviews. How will we trust the United States again?”
“We entered the negotiations again, then, as we can know for sure that in the middle of the interviews the Israeli regime will not re -allow us to attack us.”
Iran-Izrael ceasefire
Since June 24, the ceasefire between Iran and Israel took over.
On June 16, Netanyahu did not rule out plans for the assassination of Iranian supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and said he would “end the conflict” after reports that US President Donald Trump vetoed this step.
During the war, the Iranian authorities also stated that Israeli conspiracy killing Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi was thwarted.
