The proposed revision of minimum wages across the planned job in Karnataka, whose proposal was recently announced, was mentioned on Saturday without the consent of the main minister and himself.
Mr. Shivakumar said he recommended Santosh Lad Minister to accept any immediate decision on the minimum wage increase, spoke at the opening ceremony of the Karnataka Association Center in Dobbsype in Karnataka.

It was welcomed by trade unions, while industrialists and trade bodies protested against this step, claiming that it will lead to a sharp climb of the labor costs.
Shivakumar, who spoke of the proposal, said: “We have Lakh workers who work here in several industries and do not want any capital flight. Many of these employees are on temporary employment. The government cannot absorb them.”
He said that the state will stop any efforts to move industry from Karnataka to other countries, especially Andhra Pradesh or Tamil Nadu. Especially in small industries, it expressed concern about the proposed hike and claimed that it would cause the state’s most demanding work that would cause industry to move to states such as Tamil Nadu, Telangana or Andhra Pradesh, where work is cheaper.
Kick on the banks
