In response to the growing incidents of violence in the state, the state female commission will introduce awareness of healthy relations for students who start this academic year, said the President of the State Commission Keral P. Sathidevi.
The aim of the session is to support personal development based on the values between adolescents and will be carried out in coordination with the new initiative of the Ministry of Education “Koodeyund Karutthekan” (together to authorize).
Mrs. Sathidevi spoke at Adalat at the district level organized by the Commission, where she stressed that many cases they received are related to domestic abuse. “What we are witnessing to the whole state are crimes that numb their conscience,” she said.
She pointed out that in addition to domestic violence, there are also problems stemming from alcohol abuse and neighborhood disputes on the rise. “Minor conflicts are escalating into major struggles, verbal abuse and even violence. This reflects increased tension in our social environment,” she added.
These conflicts in houses have a deep impact on children, which affects their perception of the family itself. “If these patterns continue, children will grow without a healthy view of family relationships. The lack of democratic dialogue in households needs urgent correction,” she warned. MS .. Sathidevi also recorded a worrying trend of women who is increasingly involved in violent behavior.
Adalat took place at the Thrissur Town Hall, reviewed 80 complaints. 28 were resolved. Four were ceded to the police and two to the vigilation committees for further investigation. The remaining 46 were postponed for further sessions.
