It seems that the controversy around the introduction of dancing Zumba about the government and supported school campuses in the state, because drug measures persist with various Muslim organizations firmly against this initiative.
Muslim groups have become against this step by giving concerns about the moral and cultural consequences of Zumba dance for school campuses.
However, the Indian Muslim Union League (IUML), unlike other Muslim groups, has chosen a measured approach to zumba controversy. The party is of the opinion that he must study this problem before commenting on it.
The cautious approach of the Muslim League is reflected in the comments of the Secretary -General of PMA Salam, where he pointed out the need for the state government to deal with concerns of all parts about the introduction of Zumba’s dance in schools.
While Iuml did not fully meet Zumba, he sought discussion and considerations of various perspectives before he moved forward with the program. IUML is of the opinion that any program should be implemented in a way acceptable to all sections.
While Muslim groups, such as Samastha Kerala Sunni Yuvajana Sangham (Sys), Samastha Keral Islam Math Vidysbyasa and the Islamic Organization of Wisdom are questioned against moral and cultural concerns, others question the effectiveness of the program. Mild groups and individuals in the Muslim community are exploring the scientific basis of Zumba as a tool to combat drug abuse among students.
C. Mohammed Ajmal, Iit Madras and Education Advisor, describes the basic idea of the program. “Youth turns to drugs in an effort to enjoy, rather than as a mechanism of reliefs of stress,” he said. In his view, the setting and achieving long -term objectives of help to students can discover more significant and enriching experiences.
The vice -president of the Wisdom Youth movement PP NASEEF urged the government to listen to the concerns of people protesting against Zumba Dance before the program is stored. “Take everyone to self -confidence is always better,” Dr. NASEEF.
Meanwhile, the government decided to continue with Zumba despite the opposition of Muslim groups. According to the Minister of Education V. Sivankutty, the student can participate in Zumba in his regular uniforms.
CPI (m) National Secretary Ma Baby urged people not to mix religion in academic workers. He said that religion should be protected from public education in a secular country like India.
If the government does not find common ground with protesters, campuses can witness Zumba clearing when classes continue on Monday.
