A woman of a civil police officer, who was underground after being charged with financial discrepancies for 20.90 lakh, was arrested and filed.
Police Muvattupuzha arrested Santha Krishhnana, who served as a writer in a unit for recovering the operation of Muvattpuzha, on Monday evening from her relative in Kidangoor in Kottayam. It was made before the court of Vigilance in Kottayam, who handed it over to judgment, the policeman said.
The arrest comes after the High Court in Kerala dismissed her predictive action on bail. The alleged financial fraud committed between 2009 and 2021, when it was entrusted with the imposition of a fine collected by the Muvattatuzha police unit.
According to the first information report registered by the police Muvttupuzha, she manipulated the government documents, including the cash register and bank income revenue to embezzlement the government funds. Reportedly imposed less than the actual fine collected for this day and covered its traces by manipulating the income of the Ministry of Finance and bank income.
It was reserved according to IPC 465 (counterfeiting) sections, 468 (counterfeiting for cheating), 471 (using a real counterfeit document or electronic record), 409 (criminal violations of confidence by a government official) and 420 (cheating and dishonestly causing assets). She was also accused under the Corruption Act.
