A 40 -year -old woman on Saturday evening allegedly jumped out of her apartment building in a chatting.
The police said Binala Swetha, Gowwipur resident, was stolen from her husband and lived with her parents over the past five years.
“She got married about 15 years ago and has two children aged 13 and seven. The preliminary investigation revealed that she had constant domestic disputes with her husband,” the police said.
On Saturday evening she reportedly went to the terrace of the building and jumped to death from the top floor. “She was rushed to the nearby hospital through her family, where she succumbed to treatment,” the police said.
According to section 194 (suspect death) of the BNSS Act, the case was reserved and the probe began.
