The 45-year-old woman, her husband and their son were killed when the SUV who traveled was hit by an empty tanker truck on Arakkonam-Kancheepuram Main Road in the Village Pallur near Arakkonam on Thursday.
The police said the deceased was identified as V. Latha, her husband K. OrnoTasan (48) and son V. Gowtham (21). While Latha died on the spot, the others died on their way to the hospital. The initial question revealed that the countryside was operated by a four -wheeler seminar in Arakkonam. Together with his family members, he managed his SUV to Kancheepuram to visit the temples when he suddenly lost control of the vehicle and hit the tanker truck from behind.
The tanker turned over and fell into an open area from the road. The truck driver, V. Malesh (34), also suffered minor injuries. Immediately the other motorists and passers -by hurried to save the injured people. They also warned firefighters and did not have the police who threw themselves into the place.
The injured persons were admitted to the governmental headquarters of the hospital in Kancheepuram, where doctors declared that they brought dead. The police removed the disheveled SUV from the wagon to restore the traffic movement that was affected for almost an hour on the route. The case was registered and another probe is taking place.
