The woman was burned to death in her residence at Athvelly Village of Medchal on the first Friday hours. The deceased was identified as laxmi, 50.
The incident came to light when the neighbors noticed the fumes coming from her residence. When they reached the places, they saw it completely burn it.
Medchal Police official said he suspected that a woman had been ignited by the person she had lived with in the last few months. “The man could be involved and fled after he set it on fire. We are investigating if another individual was involved,” the clerk said.
The body has been sent to assess the posthumous. The case has been reserved and efforts to monitor the accused.
