A man who was mistakenly identified as the CEO of Indian origin in a women’s post on LinkedIn has opposed its demands. The woman said she had confused him for Piyush Gupta while in Bali, and later repaired by the former CEO. In an interview, a man – named Kumar H Subramaniam – shared his side of the story to clarify the situation. How did it all start?
In Linkedin, Janney Hujic described a meeting that she believed to be with Piyush Gupta, former CEO of DBS Bank. Subramaniam refutes the Hujic version of events:
He explained that at lunch with a colleague in a cafe in Bali, Hujic and her companion came to him and asked if he was Gupta. Subramaniam says he showed that he was not a former CEO.
