A 32 -year -old woman, married five months ago with a sales officer, was found dead in suspicious circumstances in Lucknow. The woman, Madhu Singh, was discovered from the ceiling. While her husband, Anurag Singh, claimed it was suicide, her family claims a much darker truth: permanent dowry of harassment, physical abuse and eventually murder.
Who was Madhu Singh and how did the marriage develop?
Madhu Singh married Anurag Singh on February 25 this year after he met him through the marriage website. According to the NDTV report, Anurag was employed as a second officer with a boat management company in Hong Kong.
According to the Madho family, marriage has been overshadowed from the beginning.

NDTV reported, Madhu’s father, 15 £ lakh in the dowry “> Fateh Bahadur Singh, claimed that Anurag demanded £15 Lakh in the dowry before the wedding, despite the family that she could only afford £5 lakh.

In one of their last interviews Madhu said Priy that Anurag accused her of looking for men on the road as she was driving. “He hit her because she kept on the left side of the road,” Priya recalled.

Was there an extramarital affair and forced abortion?
Madhu’s father also accused Anurag of infidelity. According to his police complaint, Anurag recently spent the night at a local hotel with a former girlfriend, just a few days before Madhu’s death. The family claims to have records of reservation of hotels of 31 July to support it.
More desperately claims that Madha has become pregnant, but he was forced to submit abortion. The discovery of intimate cottages between Anurag and his ex -girlfriend also tense their relationship.
On August 3, Madha reportedly reported her sister about another attack. The next day, around 16:30, Anurag informed the family that Madha had died, several hours after he claimed he had found her hanging.

Police Lucknow also confirmed that Anurag ordered food online around 10:30 on that day, hours before he allegedly found Madha dead.
Anurag told the police that he found Madhu’s body around noon and called the emergency line 112. However, the family says they were informed only in the late afternoon and raised questions about the timeline.
Another suspicion occurred when investigators found out that Anurag had sent a Housemaid mission in the morning Madhu was found dead, and told her not to come in. The service, did not know about the message, appeared and the bell rang several times without any answer.

What fees were reserved Anurag?
Anurag has been arrested and interrogated. He was charged with the relevant parts of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhit for cruelty and according to the provisions of the Act on the Prohibition of the Tower. Police officials noted that during the initial questioning, Anurag seemed evasive and continued to apply for cigarettes while in custody.
Officers are now waiting for other forensic news and say they are examining all angles, including the possibility of murder.

What about Madhu’s family now?
The family demands justice for Madha and a deeper investigation into the circumstances of her death. “My daughter did not take her own life. She was done – or worse, murdered. We want the truth to come out,” NDTV quoted her mourning father.
