
The White House on Thursday (August 7) refuted the Russian assertion that the meeting between President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin was completed, including the specified location.
The head of the White House official told ABC News that no placement was determined for the potential summit, and stressed that any Trump-Putin meeting was dependent on Putin’s first meeting of Ukrainian President Volodymyr-some, what the Kremlin has to agree with.

Previously, Yuri Ushakov, President Putin advisor, told reporters in Moscow that the meeting was selected.
“The place of meetings between the presidents of the Russian Federation and the United States, Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump, was agreed and the Kremlin will inform about it later,” Ushakov said.
He added that the United Arab Emirates were among the “most suitable” places considered.
The Kremlin rejects a trilateral meeting with the President of Ukraine
According to Ushakov, the special envoy of the White House Steve Witkoff originally hovered the idea of a trilateral meeting between Putin, Trump and Zlenic. However, the Kremlin confirmed that the upcoming meeting would only be between Trump and Putin.
“It will be a bilateral meeting. The design of trilateral format was not accepted,” Ushakov said.
