During the camp, NSS volunteers actively engaged in several community development activities, including household literacy survey, cyber security awareness programs, rainwater harvesting, self-employment opportunities and welfare programs for women.
Addressing the gathering, Mrs. Mamatha emphasized that NSS volunteers act as the nation’s social defense and play a vital role in saving thousands of lives every year through voluntary blood donation and community service while promoting ethical and moral values among students. She said NSS volunteers should focus more on ‘Nasha Mukt Yuva for Viksit Bharat’.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Bisathi Bharath emphasized that MYBharat provides many opportunities for the youth to contribute towards nation building and encouraged the youth to actively use this government platform and take the centre’s flagship programs to every rural household.
The camp concluded with a renewed commitment of volunteers to serve the society and contribute towards building a strong and developed India by 2047.
