    Uneven core recovery

    Growth in India’s key infrastructure sector rose 1.7% year-on-year in April from 1.2% in March, driven by strong steel, cement and electricity output. Steel production rose 6.2% year-on-year in April, cement production rose 9.4% and electricity production rose 4.1%, boosting the overall index.
