Sri Narayani Hospital and Research Center (SNHRC) organized a march in Vellore on the occasion of World Glaucoma Awareness Week.
According to a press release, the walkathon was jointly flagged off by N. Balaji, Director, SNHRC, and Dhanush Kumar, Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP), Vellore. Students, residents, traders and hospital staff participated in the run to raise awareness about glaucoma, the report said.
