Actors Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna’s representative filed a complaint with the cybercrime police here on Monday (Oct 26, 2026) over alleged false online stories and fictional content about the actor couple. Police said they are investigating the complaint.

The team representing the actor-couple in the complaint sought to investigate specifically identified online content about the actors following their appearance on ‘Koffee with Karan 9’.

“The complaint identifies online publications and digital material across social media platforms, including alleged false narratives, fabricated content, manipulated screenshots, impersonation, and targeted online harassment,” the team said in a press release. The team said it has submitted the relevant links for examination by the authorities.

“We hope that the matter will be investigated in accordance with the law and that the deliberate creation and dissemination of misleading narratives, including any coordinated or paid evidence-based campaigns, will be dealt with appropriately,” he added.

Meanwhile, the Cyberabad police said that another DCP, Serilingampally zone, has been given a complaint about the alleged online publications and they are probing it.

“No case is registered in this regard as the content of the petition is not cognizable in nature,” a police statement said.
