
The veteran leader of Congress and former spokesman of the Kereral PP Dadichan meeting died on Thursday at a private hospital in Kochi’s Aluva. He was 86.

Thachakan worked as the main whip of the opposition from 1987 to 1991 and later as the State Minister of Agriculture from May 1995 to 1996.
In 2004 he became the president of the Congress Committee of Kerala Pradesh (KPCC). We would also like to thank several other positions, including UDF Convelor, a member of the Rubber Council and the chairman of Keraral Marketfed.
Thankchan survived his wife TV, Thadamma, two daughters and son. The funeral will take place later, PTI informed.
In July, former chief and veteran Marxist leader Vs Achuthanandan died.
