What is the Visa release program?
The program forgiving a visa (VWP), administered by the Ministry of Internal Security, allows eligible citizens or nationals to travel to the United States for tourism or business purposes for 90 days or less without obtaining a visa.
In return, these designated countries will be expected to travel to American citizens and nationals to their countries for a similar time without a visa for business or tourism purposes.
Are the Indians entitled to a 90 -day visit without a visa?
No, at present, India is not intended as VWP countries. Citizens and nationals from India cannot therefore visit the United States for 90 days without a visa.
