Skipper Shai Hope West Indies was disappointed by the team’s performance after their loss in the final T20i series against Australia. The Windies was filled with 5-0 in the T20i series, because in most of his games he couldn’t show Bat and Ball. Hope said she said at the ceremonial presentation after the match that the team had never had a chance to succeed in the series.
The loss of the T20i series comes on the back of a terrible loss of 0-3 in the red ball format, where the hosts blown off the Australian pace of batteries. In the test series, Windies recorded their lowest shifts in the last test match.
The hosts, known for their bravery in the shortest format of the international cricket, did not solve any better in the T20i leg. Although they have a group full of big hitters and T20 specialists, they looked in the whole series from species and lacked discipline with ball and consistency with bat. Australia, on the other hand, was clinical and used every weakness and showed much greater intent and peace. The last T20i in ST Kitts saw another dominant display from Australia and ended a high level tour.
Captain West Indies Shai Hope admitted that the bat with the bat did not work well, which basically led to their fall in all 5 games.
“Do not think we have built a good bat display. We went against a quality opposition in Australia, but as a branding group we did not have the best chance. We have always been one step behind the eight ball, but we have to praise bowling efforts.
Hope also mentioned that the Caribbean conditions usually prefer persecution because of the dew and the wind, but the hosts never had a chance after they lost every single throw in the series.
Legends are looking for a revival of West India
Cricket cricket in West India has seen emergency management meetings. The cricket body of the group of nations was looking for the help of former crickets to revive standards by older generations. The legendary Criquette Clive Lloyd has already raised his hand and said he was ready to provide every possible help to save the shrinking form of a cricket team.
“We have to explore all aspects of Criket of West India from below to international level, everything needs to be carefully and carefully looking at them. The cricket of West India is an institution. It is playing a top (test) cricket and we have to remedy it,” Lloyd said in his statement Espncricinfo.
Meanwhile, West Indies will return to the drawing board. They look from the species and have to quickly regroup when they prepare for the upcoming series of white balls against Pakistan.
