Junction is the main place of transport overload on the inner circular road, where vehicles from the northern, southern and eastern zones of the city converge with those coming from Yadadri-Buvanagiri and Warangal.
Out-bound buses and loaded trucks add to chaos and turn the intersection with a real nightmare for commuting and traffic police, especially during the top traffic hours.
Traffic solutions designed for intersection through an increased corridor and two overwhelms are still far forward.
The increased corridor, which has been under construction between Tappal and Narrow since 2018, could take at least one year to complete if everything goes as planned.
Two more overwhelms, which were part of the Strategic Road Development Plan (SRDP), did not even start due to lack of funds.
The expected completion date is constantly and further moved to the so much promoted structure, which was inaugurated by the Minister of the Union for Road Transport and the Nitin Gadkari motorway in 2018.
Although the National Highway was originally planned between Narrow and Junction on the Warangal motorway, the design of Naderie underwent modifications after the government undertook to expand after the intersection on landing towards Ramanthapur.
The project was the victim of a tiring delay, which was originally accused of a supplier of a selected Nhai. Finally, the contract was terminated and fresh offer was required.
On the side of the state government, the project also experienced a delay, because the overall RCC structure was considered unsuitable for the expected height. The overflowing part must reach a maximum height of 23 meters to avoid the Blue Hyderabad Metro line between Nagole and Raidurgam. The proposals were therefore sent to the State Government, which sought consent to a compound structure with steel moths, which only in August 2025 nodded.
The acquisition of land also proved to be another obstacle. The project needs to acquire real estate from India (SOI) and Telangana Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (Tgiic). The Ministry of Science and Technology was addressed a letter looking for 8.04 acres of soil from SOI at a market price. Officials say there has been some progress on this front. The public announcement was issued on the basis of the right to fair compensation and transparency in land acquisition, rehabilitation and resettlement of 2013 for nine Tgiic real estate.
The Package also also contains two other parallel overdue for vehicles to AZ LB Nagar to always skip the gritted junction. They also have a significant component of acquisition of real estate- 42 private properties, in addition to other acquisitions from SOI. The deadline for these two overpass is also determined as October, 2026, but it is very unlikely that their design will begin by this date, say sources.
