The confederation of the university employees, Keral, (Cueo), submitted a memorandum to Governor Rajendr Vishwanath Alelekar, who sought urgent intervention to facilitate the payment of salaries and pensions for employees and pensions of APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University (KTU).
The organization also accused the vice -chairman of the “non -compliance with the right procedures” referred to in the ABDUL Kalam Kalam Technological University of 2015, which led to the financial crisis in the institution. According to Cueo, the inability to pass through the annual budget, moved the university to a state of uncertainty.

The confederation was criticized by the vice -chairman to resolve the situation. He pointed out that while the VC caused special powers to various matters, the administration in case of delayed salaries failed to do so. The vice -chairman previously caused special powers to enable financial transactions until June 30. However, since then, without a complete budget, the university has been unable to process other financial transactions. This left employees and pensioners in an uncertain situation, the organization said.
“Employees and pensioners of the university are denied salary and pension also on the occasion of Onam,” the Confederation said.
Cueo urged the Chancellor to order the Vice -President to allow the continuation of recurring financial expenses, including salaries and pensions until the budget is formally proven.
