Minister for Minority Affairs Kiren Rijija said on Friday (July 4, 2025) that the government will begin to accept requests for Haj-2026 within a week.
Mr. Rijiju, who described the management of Haj 2025 as historical, said “it was one of the most successful ever”. The Minister stressed that the mortality rate fell to 64 years from 220 in 2024, as well as the recognition of Haj’s success to the Ministry of External Affairs, the Ministry of Civil Aviation and the Ministry of Health.
On Friday (July 4, 2025), who spoke to the press after participation in the Haj revision meeting, was held in the International Center in Delhi, Mr. Rijija added that the government was planning to build on this success to ensure trouble -free experience in 2026. He also ordered the Indian Haj Committee to put the payment to the Saudi Arab government before the deadline.
The ministry officials reported that the shareholder was mandatory to take care of pilgrims over 65 who wish to take Haj. They added that the government is considering an application for independent accommodation for men and women.
