According to poet Vijaykrishnan, member of Tiruvannamalai Thiruperunthurai Adigalar Arakattalai, who would organize the event, said the spiritual conference was aimed at promoting the 51 compositions that comprise Thiruvasagam and creating awareness about the rich Tamil literature among the young generation.

As part of the event, about one million participants from around the world will participate, mostly virtually, on Saturday to write 10 songs from Thiruvasagam on the occasion.

The event will also include a debate on Tamil literature, speeches by spiritualists, an exhibition and a rally in the city. Around 25,000 participants are expected to attend the event, organizers said.
