At least eight trains were delayed or stopped because rail transport to AZ Belagavi was disturbed for several hours 15. April in the morning after the train derailed near the Mahadev military temple near the city station.
Sources stated that the train of goods carried iron ore from the JSW factory.
The movement of trains on both lines up and down was blocked after the truck slipped on one side and came to the other line.
Officials blocked all four lines – two main lines, one on the railway coaching warehouse and another line – at the station to facilitate the repair of the damaged track.
The railway police expect repairs to take approximately four hours.
This led to the suspension of all train services on the Belagavi-Miraj route. The services were expected to continue after repairing the song.
Among the trains that were stopped in the middle of the road were Searavati Express (Miraj), LTT Dadar Express and Ajmer Express.
In addition, the deviation from Belagavi, from Rani Chennamma Express, hit Bengalurur-Jodhpur Express.
