The Secretary General of AICC responsible for Karnataka, Randeep Singh Surjewala, claimed on Tuesday that the government led by Narendra Modi-nicated sold everyday commuting and working class citizens by increasing tolls on the Hosur Road Corridor road.
According to new rates, according to new rates, tolls for cars in an electronic city overpass increased from 65 to 65 GBP (8.33% increase), while the Attibele tolls increased from 35 to 40 GBP (14.29% increase).
In addition, the monthly passenger pass for Electronics City was increased from 1,795 GBP to 1,885 GBP and at Attibele, from 1,080 GBP to £ 1,1330 – a steep increase of 90 GBP and 50 GBP, said Congress leader.
He pointed out that Belt (Bangalore Eleged Tollway Limited), a private company operating on a concession agreement with Nhai, has again increased the toll on the increased Bengalur highway, proving that there are public roads in Karnataka.
“While the BJP center monitors quietly, the burden is still falling on the back of ordinary commuting. It is not the development of infrastructure, it is organized, authorized blackmail,” he said.
He accused the central government led by the preference of private toll operators at the cost of ordinary citizens and demanded immediate return. He also urged an immediate return of 50 ₹ LPG Cylinder Trike and 2 2 2/liter of fuel excise tax.
“If MPs of Karnataka Bjp-JD (S) and MLA cannot increase their voice against Delhi’s prey, they should raise their hands and resign,” Surjewala said.
