The ongoing ‘Tirupati Book Festival 2026’ is also organizing cultural events to provide students with an opportunity to showcase their prowess in vocal, dance and musical instruments.
The festival is managed by Tirupati Kendra of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan in Pandit Nehru Municipal Corporation High School campus opposite SVIMS campus.
“Today’s children will have to be nurtured and molded into the young and aspiring artists of tomorrow. If there is no effort to create artists today, there will be no art tomorrow,” said Bhavan Honorary Director N. Satyanarayana Raju.
Several children, some of whom are already in primary school, will be given the opportunity to showcase their talent in various art forms during the nine-day event.
Not only concerts, but also competitions for middle, high and college students in literary events such as poetry writing, quiz, group discussions, devotional song singing and recitation of spiritual verses are held.
Tirupati Rachaiytala Sangam (Tirupati Writers’ Forum), which has set up a stall at the book festival, will hold a literary meet to quench the literary thirst of the citizens.
“The book festival that has been held continuously here for the past eighteen years is not only a festival for book lovers but also for writers, critics and poets,” said Sahitya Akademi awardee Madhurantakam Narendra. The festival will end on February 8, 2026 (Sunday).
