The state government decided to upgrade three city city councils (TMC) to the city city council (CMC) in the northern Karnatace.
At his meeting on Thursday, the state cabinet decided to upgrade the saundages, Sindagi and Humnabad TMCs to CMCS.
Among them, the upgrade of the saundatti is considered significant. The governments of the centers and state governments committed themselves to develop the city of the temple of 215 GBP. The state government created the Office for the Development of the Cities and the Yallamma Temple Council for Saundatti.
“This means that we receive additional funds, more officials of the higher cadre and increased responsibility for implementing projects and schemes,” Mla Vishwas Vaidya said on Friday. He said CMC will be better equipped for management of various development projects and expansion programs and plans for modernization for the city of Hilltop.
Saunmatti grows not only as a pilgrimage center, but also as the capital in the northern card. It lies on the border of Karnataka – Maharashtra. It is in the middle of the intersection of roads connecting cities such as Belagavi, Hubballi-Dharwad, Gadag and Bagaltot. We will need funds and official machines to develop saunitti to the city, said Mr. Vaidya.
The state government launched a work to drop the mountain by eliminating interventions and by receiving the planned development of roads, guest houses, restaurants and shelters for animals near the temple. In the temple complex, the main changes are made to allow him to manage large crowds.
The inhabitants went on the streets to celebrate the modernization of Sindagi on Friday in the district of Vijayapura.
President Shantaveer Managel and Vice -President Sandeep Choura celebrated the decision by playing drums, throwing colors on each other and distributing sweets. The chief officer Rajshekar S. and medical officer Nabirasool were present and others.
The MLA Ashok Managel said that the state government led its promise upgrading TMC.
Humnabad TMC in the Bidar district will also be upgraded. “It was very needed because the city lies at the intersection of two national highways and railway lines that connects Karnataka with Telangana and Karyan Karnataka with Kittur Karnataka. Quickly receives and needs other powers and funds,” said Rajshekar Patil, a former MLA.
