
Given that the Handmaid story officially closed its eight -season run, Hulu confirmed that the story will continue through laws, adaptation of Margaret Atwood’s novel from 2019. The new series that will pick up more than 15 years after the original events, is currently in production.
Plot and timeline
The laws take place in the dystopic world of Gilead and follow a new generation of women who are struggling with the oppression regime. The central point of the story is Agnes, also known as Hannah, the daughter of June Osborne, whose fate was the driving force in the original series. The show will also explore the development of Gilead through the eyes of several characters, including June children.

Ann Dowd will again repeat his role as Emmy as Aunt Lydia. Hulu also announced a wide occupation of the file, including:

Will Elisabeth Moss come back?
Bruce Miller, showrunner behind the fairy tale Handmaid, returns to hold the law. Elisabeth Moss, who portrayed June in the original series, will not play in the sequel (from now on), but will serve as an executive producer.
