The robbers struck the Sri Venkateshwara Swamy in Agraharam near the town of Vemulawad in the Rajanna Scircilla district and decomposed with some silver articles on Monday morning.
According to temple sources, Miscreants got entrance to the temple after opening the front door lock, which are located in Agraharam and adjoined the Vemulawad-Sircilla motorway at Dawn. Reportedly, they left with three silver articles and a recorder of the CCTV digital camera, added sources.
The temple staff filed a complaint to the local police by turning 100 after noticing that they noticed the front door of the temple on Monday morning. However, the police still have to find out the exact value of the silver cells that are missing from the temple. The case has been registered and further investigations are underway.
