
Minister of Hrda Nara Lolesh Feliciting Kalyani Kumar for his excellent services at a school at a remote tribal village in the Kurnool district on Wednesday in Tired.
M. Kalyani Kumari, Minister of Human Resources (HRD), M. Kumari, a teacher from a distant tribal village in Pathikonda Mandal in the Curnool district, for her excellent services.
Recognition of her sincere contribution to improve students from 14 to 53 at a school for one teacher at JM Thanda of Pathikonda Mandal in the Kurnool district, where Mrs. Kalyani joined in 2017, Mr. Loket appreciated the first and said that teachers as if she were helping the government to strengthen her goal of the public education system.
The Minister reported that when Mrs. Kalyani joined the school, only two out of 14 registered students regularly attended classes, which led to the authorities in question to consider the closure of the school. However, she invested personal interest and funds for providing study materials and encouraged students to education.
He said that her efforts carried fruit and the strength of students increased to 53 academic year until 2020-21. Of these, 23 students qualified for Gurukul Schools and one secured entry to Navodaya. The school currently has 43 students.
Mrs. Kalyani shared her experience and stated that even though she was doing her piece to improve students’ performance, she explained to her parents that quality education was possible in government schools and introduced initiatives such as “Star of the Week”, rewarded students every Monday based on parameters such as housework, participation, discipline, prayer, handwriting, hygiene and uniform. In order to emphasize personal hygiene, she gave students to their soap on their birthday.
She appreciated the government’s initiative in implementing mega parent teachers and stated that the appointment of one teacher in schools for one teacher would help improve the results. Taking on her proposal, the Minister informed that efforts to improve standards in 9,600 schools for one teacher in the state.
