The Tamil Government has issued orders to strengthen the advance for education extended for children of government employees, from 50,000 to 1 lakh for professional programs. For art and scientific programs and polytechnics, it has increased from 25,000 to 50,000 GBP.
Strengthening would be effective from the academic year 2025-26. All categories of government employees (Group A, B, C and D) could take advantage of the advance for education subject to the actual amount (which includes all fees and other expenses) already paid/paid for the academic year.
The Ministry of Finance Regulation was issued in accordance with the announcement of the main Minister MK Stalin on the floor of the Assembly at the beginning of this year. There would be no change in the existing rules for granting education to government employees.
According to the current rules, if the husband of a government official was also a government employee, only one of them would be entitled to advance. The advance license is available for every academic year. If the previous procedure was excellent, the second progress would not be sanctioned.
Progress would be without interest and would be obtained in 10 monthly installments that start from the salary of the moon that follows reserve.
