The Supreme Court Collegium, led by the main judge of India Bravai, on Monday 26 May 2025) recommended the names of five judges as the main judges of the Supreme Courts Madhya Pradesh, Karnataka, Gauhati, Patarkhand.
Judge Sanjeev Sachdev, currently a judge at the Supreme Court in Madhya Pradesh, was recommended as the main judge of the court. The High Court of Justice Sachdeva is a dili.
The judge of Vibhu Bakhr, the Supreme Judge of the High Court in Delhi, who served as the main judge until the current main judge DK Upalyaya took over in January, was recommended as the chief judge of the Karnataka High Court. The justice of NV Anjaria is expected to replace Bakhru justice. Judge Anjaria was recommended to appoint the Supreme Court.
If the government approves, the High Court in Gauhati would also acquire a new main judge in the judge of the High Court in Patno Ashutosh Kumar. Justice Kumar is to be replaced by the current judge Vijay Bishnoi, whose name was handed over to the appointment of the judge of the peak.
The justice of Vipul Manubhai Pancholi, who currently operates in Patna High Court, has been designed for the Chief Judges of the High Court. His superior High Court is gujarat.
The judge of the High Court Himachal Pradesh Tarlok Singh Chauhan was designed for the Jharkhand High Court judge. The Supreme Court stated in the note that “a vacancy is likely to arise as a result of the transfer of the current main judge”.
