The bench of Justices Surya Kant and Joyylya Bagchi called on to launch all waiting cases concerning the former minister before the Supreme Court, and on Wednesday (July 30, 2025, sent them to hear.
“We would like to know that besides the Minister who were alleged brokers or intermediaries? Who were the officers who acted on the recommendation of the Minister? Who were the members of the selection committee? Who were the authorities who named?” The bench watched.
The bench asked if individuals forced to pay for employment were now charged as charges.
“You (status) are more interested in prosecuting them in such a way that the whole life of the Minister has never ended. This is your modus operandi,” said the bench.
The Court of Justice heard a petition filed by Y. Balaji, which challenged the order of the Madras High Court of 28 March, which dismissed the actions against clubs of more chargers in cases related to alleged fraud.
