Cases against Delhi lg
In July 2023, the Supreme Court was looking for an answer from the center over the then government led by AAP, which challenges the government of the national main territory of Delhi (GNCTD) Act, 2023.
The law, which was initially a regulation, created a body for the transfer and publication of officers of the group and in Delhi. It came a week after SC gave control of the services in Delhi, with the exception of the police, public order and landing to the elected government.
Another case that was on withdrawal is against the decision of the National Green Tribunal (NGT), which remained in July 2023 by the Supreme Court.
The NGT Regulation of January 19, 2023 asked LG to lead a high -level committee that dealt with the problems of rejuvenating the Yamuna River.
Other cases that wanted to withdraw are the challenge for allegedly not issuing sanctions for the Delhi Council for the financial year 2023-2025 by the financial separation of GNCTD, re-unloading that LG in Dilli is bound using ministers GNCTD and appointment (Delhi).
The Delhi government also tried to cancel the call for orders issued by the Ministry of the Interior (MHA) and LG in terms of the release of payments to defense ministers without the concurrence of Delhi and the appointment of supporters (AOR) and advocates at the Supreme Court and Delhi High Court.
