The Minister of Industry P. Rajeev said on Tuesday that the state will soon have 50 private industrial parks that would convert 750 acro soil into industrial ground.
He spoke after the high-tech industrial park in Mulanjoor, which was established in cooperation with private entrepreneurs within the system of private industrial assets of the State Government.
The aim of this system is to support private participation in the industrial sector in the development of infrastructure, job opportunities and production capacity. The Minister said that other countries take Kera as a model for their new approach to promoting private industrial parks.
He said that an industry was established in each district. “In addition, the government implements the campus industrial parks to allow students to earn their income,” he said.
The Minister of K. Krishhnankutty was opened by the Kadambur Industrial Park. He proposed that the opening of industries based on local agricultural production would be beneficial not only for industry but also for ordinary farmers.
