Minister of the Great and Central Industry and MB Infrastructure Infrastructure Development said that if the status of religion status was carried out for Lingayat for Lingayat.
The assembly was set after unveiling the bust of the 12th century Basavanna (Basaveshware) in the village of Dhanyal in Babaleshwar Taluk from the Vijayapura district on Wednesday.
“The religion of Lingayat founded in the 12th century was an independent religion until 1881. In 1881, however, the rulers of Mysur removed Lingayats from the column of independent religion and included them in the category of Shudra Hindu religion,” he said.
“If Lingayat or Basava Dharma, which has compassion for religion, is well adhered to, there will be no war as a situation around the world. In the coming years, India will become Basava Bharat and automatically, a harmonious egalitarian society will appear,” he said.
Sri Basava Jaya Mrutyunjaya Swami of Lingayat Panchamasali Peetha of Koodalasangama thanked Mr. Patil for facilitating his generous gifts to prevent his generous gift to avoid short gifts because of lack of funda.
Swami urged farmers not to forget the people who helped them get water on their agricultural land, and to appreciate Mr. Patil for his active work by the Minister of Water Resources during his previous possession.
Sri Mahantha Swami of Mahantheshwar Mutt of Mudgal Thimmapur said that Basavanna was building a society on a pedestal of principles that advocated equality. He said that the state government is doing a good job in the spread of Basavann’s ideology, which is necessary for the transition to unconditional society.
The thing also remembered the contribution of Fa.GU. Halakatti, who devoted his life to the collection and publication of Vachan literature.
