MA Saleem, Director General and Inspector General of Police (DG&IGP) Karnataka Police
The state government on Thursday issued a notification extending the tenure of MA Saleem, a 1993-batch Indian Police Service officer, as Director General and Inspector General of Police (Head of Police), Karnataka, till August 29, 2027 or other orders, whichever is earlier.
Mr. Saleem assumed charge as DG&IGP (HoPF) on 21 May 2025 and his appointment was confirmed on 30 August 2025.
