
The State Cabinet on Wednesday approved the opening of the new initiative “Mukhyamantri Ennodoppam” (cm with me), which aims to create a more responsive and transparent interface between government and people and increase public participation in administration.
The key feature of the program is to create a comprehensive Citizen Connect Center, which will serve as a central citizen’s feedback center, complaint and public communication.
The objectives of the initiative include the provision of easy access to information on key government programs, social security programs and the fund for assistance to the chairman of the main minister; the collection and analysis of public feedback to improve the quality and timeliness of government projects; Gathering public proposals in sectors, including housing, health, education, infrastructure and environmental sustainability that directly affects people’s lives; ensuring reactions to public complaints; ensuring transparency and public participation in administration through the public terrain mechanism; and functioning as a reliable system of public services, especially in emergencies by ensuring timely information, coordinated disaster communities and rapid provision of government aid.
Experienced government officials will have the task of managing the program. The KERAL (KIIFB) Infrastructure Council (KIIFB) will provide technical support, infrastructure and work support support.
Government employees, including Officers of the Keral Administration (KAS), will be appointed on the basis of employment arrangements. The main secretary was entitled to issue the necessary commands. All service officers in India will also be connected to supervision.
Another CRORE 20 GBP will be assigned to the Information and Public Relations Department for creating content, dissemination and collecting feedback. The department will also be responsible for ensuring effective implementation, supervision and quality control.
The Citizen Connect Center will operate from the Air India building in Vellayambalam that has been taken over for this purpose. The revenue department was entrusted with a cabinet with the acceptance of the necessary arrangements.
