General BKGM Lasantha Rodrigo, commander of the Sri Lankan army, visited the Southwest headquarters in Jaipur on the second day of his official tour to India from 11 to 14 June on Thursday (12 June 2025).
“The genus Rodrigo was warmly welcomed by the General Director, Command, Southwest Command. They participated in detailed discussions on mutual interest issues with a focus on areas such as regional security, joint educational initiatives, development of skills and proven procedures.”
“Gen Rodrigo has also interact with other higher officers at the command headquarters, exchanged opinions on surgical experience and explored opportunities to increase cooperation between the two armies.
