Police Bagalagunte is looking for an urban man for killing his father for his share in family property. The police arrested a friend of the accused, identified as Reddy, for helping him in a crime and later as suicide.
The defendant was identified as Manoj, premature class 10 and unemployed. The victim was identified as Manjunatha, resident of Dasarahali and carpenter.
The police said Manoj is in leakage and efforts will trace him.
According to the police, Manjunatha was murdered in his house, while his wife and younger son went for medical control. The crime came to light after the postmort confirmed death by strangling.
Manoj, who is an older son, informed his mother that Manjunath had ended his life. Then the wife and younger son threw themselves home and alerted the police. The police registered the case of unnatural death.
According to the police, Manoj followed his share in his family property, a residential building where two houses were rented. Manoj’s friends reportedly suggested that his father would give him his share and suggested him to do something, the police said.
The accused hatched a plan with his friend Poe Reddy to remove his father to obtain a share of property. The duo strangled Manjunath when he was alone at home and seemed to end his life, the police said.
