The army soldier was killed and the other two were injured in a landscape explosion near the control line (LOC) in the Poonch district in Jammu and Kashmir on Friday (July 25, 2025).
Agniveer Lalit Kumar, spokesman for the Army of the White Knight’s Corps, had made the highest victim of the 7 -jam regiments, while at a dominant patrol in the general area of Krishna Ghati Brigade after a mining explosion. “In this class we stand with a surviving family,” the army said.
Among the injured was the junior official (JCO). The injuries were identified as Naib Subedar Hari Ram and Havaldar Gajendra Singh. Officials stated that the injuries were immediately evacuated and transported to the Army Basic Hospital Udhampura for Advanced Treatment.
The incident occurred around 12:15 near Victor’s post of Indian army in the village of Salotri, Havel, then when he exploded the anti-personnel mine M16 during the patrol.
