A team of social security officials on Monday at 4.30 in the morning attacked two boys’ hostels after the complaints remained that people who did not enroll in universities remained.
Two hostels, namely Dr. BR AMBEDKAR POST-METRIC Boys Hostel, Srigandadakaval (370 students) and Dr. Bros Ambedkar Puc Boys Hostel, Mallathalli (140 students’ students) found on the same campus.
According to police, unauthorized people reportedly remained with the support of the guards, and most of them worked with food supply applications or cycling services.
This problem arose when the student complained of higher officials of the department. The matter was then reported to the Minister of Social Security HC Mahadevappa and a team that carried out the inspection was created.
“Several students remained because they could not gain admission elsewhere, while many of them did not study anywhere, but remained with the support of regional political leaders and supervisors,” the official said, adding that about 12 people were held during the raid, but many escaped when others were interrogated. Raid found outages in the hostel management.
The company was registered with the Kamakship Police against the guard and others for allowing unauthorized people to stay.
