
The construction of a six -storey building in the government hospital Taluk, Thuravor entered its last phase.
Officials stated that 91% of the work was completed. The new building with an area of 6 374.81 m2 is built on 62 cents of land at the price of 51.40 GBP Crore, sanctioned within the Kerala Investment Fund (KIIFB).
After completing the structure with hi-tech facilities, including a unit for trauma, gynecological wing, three main operating theaters, CT scanning center, X-ray units and 150 beds, placed a hospital located next to the National Highway 66.
The foundation stone of the building was laid in September 2019. Painting, aluminum distribution, sanitary fittings and similar tasks are currently progressing. Officials said the aim was to complete the building this year and donate it to people. The work is carried out by the State Council for Housing Keral.
In the last budget, the state government assigned CRS 2 crore to obtain land and to build a morgue in the Taluk Hospital.
