The girl was operated seven days ago, but her condition was critical. In the end, she died because of septicemia, infection that occurs when bacteria enter the bloodstream and spread, said Dr. Jitendra Verma.
The girl was bitten by rats on two left -hand fingers and caused “slight scratches”.
According to the wishes of the family members of the girl, the post was not carried out and the body was handed over to them.

On Tuesday, another newborn girl lost his life, who also became the victim of a rat attack in the same hospital.
She also suffered from various congenital deformities and died because of “pneumonia infection”, the hospital officials said.
Both victims of rats attack were adopted in the intensive care unit (ICU) of the separation associated with the surgery of newborns.
Based on the initial investigation of rats biting incidents at Maharaja Yashwantrao hospital, two nursing officers were suspended on Tuesday and the function was removed by the nursing superintendent.
