
Forest department officials who decided to look for a bear that some claimed that they were seen on Wednesday evening near the central prison in Parappan Agrahar, encountered a dog that disappeared a few days ago. At the happy end, the dog was rescued later again with its owners.
Officials after receiving a report from the locals that near the central prison visited the “Lnezer” area and instead found a black dog.
“We were told that the bear was hitting near the border wall of prison. The team was created to watch it, but when we arrived at the place, we found a dog who disappeared a few days back,” the clerk said.
It all started when a resident of the apartment in Choodasandra captured a video of an animal reminiscent of a bear after roaming near the border wall of prison.
The inhabitants of the site then warned the forest department and prison officials and shared a video with them who later decided to trace the animal.
The forest department official said there were no forest areas around Papphara Agrahara, and if there was a wild animal at all, it could dare from Bannerghatt, a closed forest area to the central prison.
