On April 30, the Supreme Court remained an order of the Central Investigation Office (CBI) to submit a company and start a probe against the main Minister Keral Pinaraya Vijayan Chief Secretary of Km Abraham in the event of disproportionate assets (DA).
The Justices Bench of Dipankar Datta and Manmohan issued the CBI, the government of Keral and the complainant to the appeal filed by Abraham, the IAS officer in retirement and the main secretary of CM.

Senior advocate R Basant, who appeared for Abraham, stated that under the Act on Corruption Prevention, it cannot be registered without compulsory sanctions pursuant to Section 17a of the Act.
On 11 April, the Kerela High Court ordered the CBI probe against Abraham for a request filed by Jomon Puthenpurac.
The High Court observed a careful analysis of the preliminary report of investigation, other materials and Abraham’s defense “Prima Facie indicated that he had” moving and impossible properties disproportionate to his known sources of income “.
The probe of alertness and the anti -corruption office (VACB) in this matter, as they say, would not “not read the public confidence” and the credibility of his investigation was “doubtful”.

Who is km Abraham?
Abraham is 1982-ias officer Keral Cadre, who was also the main secretary of the state. Abraham is also a former member of securities and stock exchange in India (Sebi).
Since May 2021, Abraham was connected to the office of the main minister (CMO). In 2024, the Vijayan government granted Abraham a cabinet, becoming even stronger than the main secretary of the state.

Abraham holds the title of Mtech of Iit-Kanpur and the title of PhD at the University of Michigan in the US. During his service as an IAS officer was sent with the financial department of Kerala. During the Congress in Kerala (2011–2016), Abraham worked as another main secretary of finance. Even after the government led by Vijayan came to power, Abraham continued at the head of the financial department. In 2017 he became the main secretary.
In the reports as the CEO of Kiifb
Abraham has recently been in the reports as the CEO of the Council for the Investment Fund in Keral or Kiifb infrastructure, in 2016 he hung to mobilize the funds from the open market and invested in infrastructure.
