The role, which plays the High Court in the completion of the Constitution of New Courts in various places, was the topic of discussion in the assembly of Tamil Nadu on Friday. While AIADMK had claimed that the judiciary was a “parallel government”, the state government said the location of the new courts was completed by the High Court.
AIADMK N. Thavai Sundaram, as it refers to the construction of new buildings for courts in the state, compared the judiciary to the “parallel government”, which completed the placement of new court and buildings that were not left for them. He continued to claim that the judiciary “intervened” on the rights of the state government.
Minister of Law S. Regupathy claimed that the High Court registrar estimated the need for courts in various places, and the Ministry of Law only facilitated construction in this respect. Regarding Mr. Sundaram’s accusation on the “interference” into the rights of the government, the Minister said it was a former AIADMK regime that did so. Mr. Sundaram said that such was not a “system” in other countries, including Keral and Maharashtra.
The legislature AIADMK further urged the government of Tamil over the law on the lines of the law on the protection of Rajasthan 2023, the aim of which was to secure the advocate. For Mr. Sundaram’s concerns about the legal steps that were taken to search for the Katchatheev, Mr. Regupatha stressed that it was necessary to remain unified to obtain an island island from the neighboring Sri Lanka.
When the legislature AIADMK claimed that there was no legal bar that should make a caste census of the people at the Supreme Court or at the High Court to prevent the State Government.
When Mr. Sundaraman constantly pushed his request for the state government to make the census, Mr. Regupathy claimed that the census was not the subject of the state. He also tried to know why the former AIADMK regime did not perform the caste census.
Not all students of the rights will become defenders: Minister
Previously, the Minister said that not all students who completed the legal title have entered as advocates. However, they use the title as a basis and decide for other professions. About 1.75 Lakh was written as advocates from Tamil Nadu and Puduchherry and about 9,000 each year, he said.
The Minister responded to the question raised by Mr. Sundaram on the actual number of admission in state legal universities.
Mr. Sundaram tried to know if all the overall sanctioned strength of students of 15,086 seats in the State of Legal University throughout the State had been fulfilled. As for the Minister’s claim that 1.75 Lakh has entered as advocates, Mr. Sundaram also said among those who enrolled, only about 65,000 practiced the right as a profession.
